If the guitar is something special and I have the tools and skills to repair it, then I can consider doing some sorts of minor guitar repair work, especially if it is to rescue something with high sentimental value.  Generally, though, I will refer less valuable guitars and more complex modifications or repairs to technicians who are better equipped to deal with your request and with pricing to suit their volumes.  I do this sort of work because I can, not because it is all I can do.

I do superb guitar setups, with full measurement report at the end.  I can set the action of your instrument to support your preferred playing style and can adjust, while you wait, so that we get the set up to be exactly how you want it.  Quality guitars are preferred, as cheaper guitars are designed to limit setup options.  You just cannot win, with them.

While I create guitars from scratch, for my own purposes, the work is far too involved to be cost effective for customers.  Consequently, I do not build custom guitars.  While I can assemble available kits for you, so that the instrument goes together correctly, has the hardware options you prefer and is set up for great playability, my other time commitments mean that I can no longer offer this service.  Many kits are available, in a wide range of styles.  I prefer Warmoth parts, but there are a number of good suppliers.
